Galway Softball launches the Galway Bay Brewery Softball League

The 2023 edition of the Galway Social League, in it’s third season, sees the addition of a league sponsor, Galway Bay Brewery, forming the Galway Bay Brewery Softball League (GBBSL).

5 sponsored social teams will play in the GBBSL 2023 with 4 rounds of round robin from the 4th of May with the League final penciled in for the 30th of August. Match times are on Thursdays at the back pitches of St. Mary’s College, at 6:30pm and 7:30pm.

Many thanks to EK Plant Sales and Megadale Automation for continuing their support again this season. We welcome on board 3 new sponsors in Snoozles Hostel, Sangria Tapas Restaurante and Ted Feeney Electrical.

With an uptake in female members this year. Galway Softball will strive to play with a 5&5 mix, where possible, to ensure a gender balance in our social league.
