Galway Bay Brewery Softball League Table Match Day 2

The first two match days of the Galway Bay Brewery Softball League 2023 have been completed.

Match day 1 saw identical scorelines in the 6:30pm matches with TF Electrical Chargers and Snoozles Backpackers coming out on top 4-2 against Sangria Tappers and EK Diggers respectively. The 7:30pm matches ended in a close affair with the minimum between TF Electrical Chargers and EK Diggers taking the W, 6-5. Megadale Motors opened their season account with a 8-3 win against Sangria Tappers.

Match day 2 saw a dry but windy day. The 6:30pm saw Snoozles Backpackers take the lead and never looked back in a 10-4 win over the Sangria Tappers. Megadale Motors outscored the TF Electrical Chargers 9-5 to record their 2nd win of the season.

At 7:30 saw a top of the Table clash between Megadale Motors and Snoozles Backpackers. A strong inning from the Motors left them with a 7-1 lead after 2, Backpackers brought it back to a 7-7 tie at the middle of inning which lead to the Motors walking it off after the No New Inning had expired after 45 minutes for a 8-7 win. Motors are 3-0, Backpackers 2-1 after 3 games each.
Sangria Tappers recorded their first win 9-6 over the EK Diggers. Tappers are 1-3 after 4 games and Diggers 1-2 after 3 games. Each Social league team has now has a win leaving 6 points between 1st and 5th.

Match day 3 takes place on the 18th of May.
