Galway Bay Brewery Matchday #10

On 20th of July, the regular season of the Galway Bay Brewery Softball League concluded it’s last regular season matchday. Each of our 5 Social League teams have played 16 timed matches over a 10 week period since we began on the 4th of May. We’ve seen a number of teams able to field an even 5&5 gender balanced team.

We now move onto a 5 team Playoffs with the 4th/5th Quarterfinal taking place first on the 17th of August between the #4 Megadale Motors and #5 Sangria Tappers. The winner will move on to the Semis Finals against the #1 seed Snoozles Backpackers. In the other semi final sees the #2 Ted Feeney Electrical Chargers take on the #3 EK Plant Sales Diggers, both games will be played at the same time on the 24th of August.

The GBB Softball League Final will take place on the 31st of August 6:30PM at St. Mary’s College.

All our Playoff Games will be live streamed only on our Facebook page or Softball Connacht Munster Facebook page. All Playoff matches will move to full 7 Innings, Run Ahead Rule in place and with a 0-0 count for at bats.
